Quality Control Manager - Must Have QC Experience in Automotive/Powered Vehicle Manufacturing
Location: Newnan, GA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasional Saturday OT)
We're seeking a hands-on Quality Control Manager to lead a team of 7 Quality Technicians in a metal manufacturing facility serving the automotive/powered vehicle industry. This role is responsible for driving quality initiatives, maintaining compliance, and developing a strong, well-trained quality team.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 7 Quality Technicians.
- Develop, write, implement, and train employees on compliant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure product quality and compliance with customer and industry standards.
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Qualifications
- Required: Quality experience within the automotive and/or powered vehicle manufacturing industry.
- Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing quality role.
- Proven experience creating and implementing SOPs and training teams on quality procedures.
- strong knowledge of quality systems, inspections, and continuous improvement.
