Job Summary
The Early Childhood Coordinator (ECC) is responsible for oversight of classrooms in the Early Intervention Day Treatment (EIDT) program. The ECC shall ensure the quality and integrity of the EIDT Classrooms.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure facility compliance with all regulating agencies which includesDivision of Child Care and EarlyChildhood Education and Division of Provider Services and Quality Assurance.
Ensure implementation of the curriculum in classrooms to meet required standards and the individual needs of preschool children including developmental-delayed preschool children.
Supervises and directs the activities of all early childhood personnel in coordination with the Clinic Director.
Recruits, interviews, and recommends personnel actions (i.e., discipline, discharge, promotion, performance evaluations).
Ensures early childhood personnel completes continuing education as required by regulating agencies.
Conducts quarterly observations for each classroom to ensure compliance with regulating agencies, quality of services provided, and to ensure classrooms are equipped with educational materials and supplies.
Conducts bi-weekly preschool staff meetings for purposes of team building, lesson planning, goal implementation, and best practices for early childhood educational experiences.
Schedules parent participation events that include parent information meetings, open house, festivals, parent teacher conferences, education opportunities, parent volunteers and parent events.
Completes professional development to meet requirements to be in compliance with Child Care Licensing and maintain Better Beginnings.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development (preferred); Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Child/Family Studies) and four years’ experience; Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development and six years’ experience; or Child Development Associate Certificate and eight years’ experience.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be physically able to walk, stand, and stoop for several hours each day.
Must be willing and able to sit on the floor and get up without assistance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.56 per hour
