Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage comprehensive accounting functions using Quick Books for our organization. This pivotal role involves maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, experience with Quickbooks software, and a proactive approach to managing complex bookkeeping tasks. Join us to contribute to our financial integrity and support our mission through precise and efficient financial management.

Duties

Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile balance sheets, bank statements, and subsidiary ledgers regularly to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and analyze journal entries, account analysis, and financial reports using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Maintain confidential financial information with integrity and discretion.
Conduct monthly account reconciliation and assist in year-end closing processes in accordance with GAAP standards.
Prepare records for annual Audit
Collaborate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role within public accounting or corporate finance environments.
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles such as GAAP and governmental accounting standards.
Proficiency in multiple financial software platforms including QuickBooks,
Strong technical accounting skills including journal entries, account reconciliation, balance sheet management, and ledger maintenance.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll and business taxes;.
Exceptional numeracy skills combined with effective communication abilities for collaborating across departments and external auditors.
