- Monday double shift, or at minimum Monday second shift (3pm-10pm)

What You’ll Do
As a Team Lead, you’ll provide hands-on pet care while also helping keep the day running smoothly for the rest of the team.
Responsibilities may include:
- Pet sitting, dog walking, feeding, potty breaks, and other in-home pet care
- Poop scooping
- Reviewing schedules and helping ensure visits are covered correctly
- Supporting caregivers with questions or unexpected situations
- Communicating schedule changes, pet concerns, or client needs to management
- Helping maintain consistent care standards across the team
- Sending professional, thoughtful client updates
- Stepping in when additional coverage is needed
This is still a very hands-on pet care position—you should expect to spend much of your shift traveling between clients and caring for pets.

Team Lead Training Path
We don’t expect a new Team Lead to walk in on day one and immediately manage schedules, staff questions, and unexpected situations while also learning dozens of pets and clients.
All Team Leads begin their first approximately 60-90 days working as Pet Caregivers on our Pet Caregiver or training pay scale.
During this time, you’ll focus on:
- Getting to know our clients, pets, homes, and individual care routines
- Learning our service standards and communication expectations
- Becoming familiar with routes, scheduling patterns, and our service area
- Learning our software, procedures, and internal systems
- Demonstrating reliability, judgment, communication, and consistency in the field
Once you have a solid foundation as a caregiver and are ready to progress, we’ll begin adding Team Lead responsibilities and transition you to the applicable Team Lead pay rate.
This allows you to learn the actual day-to-day work—before being responsible for helping coordinate it for everyone else.
