Full Job Description

Park Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support composite material and aerospace structure manufacturing operations. This role serves as a key link between Engineering, Production, Quality, and our customers by developing manufacturing processes, solving production challenges, and supporting new and existing aerospace programs.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working both on the manufacturing floor and within technical project teams to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and overall operational performance.

What You'll Do

Create, maintain, and revise manufacturing plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
Provide hands-on support to manufacturing teams by troubleshooting production and quality issues.
Review customer specifications, product designs, and manufacturing requirements to support quoting, planning, and product launches.
Support composite manufacturing, assembly, CNC machining, and related production processes.
Identify and implement process, equipment, quality, and safety improvements.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve engineering, manufacturing, and quality challenges.
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and technical projects.
Present project updates and technical recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.
Manage multiple projects while maintaining schedules and business objectives.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production environments.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Project.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in aerospace, composites, or advanced manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of composite molding, assembly, materials manufacturing, CNC machining, injection molding, or metal fabrication processes.
Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, Verisurf, CAM software, or similar engineering tools.
Understanding of materials testing and analysis, including destructive and non-destructive testing methods.
Experience working within an AS9100 quality management system.
Experience supporting customer-facing engineering projects and product development initiatives.
