Rose Bank Winery is looking for a friendly, motivated, and hospitality-driven Tasting Room Manager to lead our tasting room team and create exceptional guest experiences every day.
This hands-on leadership role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, coaching a team, driving sales, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. From wine tastings and Wine Club memberships to weddings, festivals, and seasonal events, you'll help ensure every guest leaves with a lasting impression.

Compensation
$18.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
- Flexible part-time position averaging approximately 20–25 hours per week, with additional hours available during peak seasons and special events.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
- Additional hours may be available during weddings, festivals, wine events, and other seasonal programming.
- This is an in-person position based at Rose Bank Winery.
What You'll DoTeam Leadership
- Lead, coach, train, schedule, and motivate the tasting room team.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance coaching, and employee development.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and guest-focused culture.
Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional hospitality by creating welcoming, educational, and memorable experiences for every guest.
- Build relationships with returning guests and Wine Club members.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
Operations Management
- Oversee the daily operation of the tasting room, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing tasting room.
- Order tasting room supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Assist in developing and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as the business continues to grow.
Sales & Wine Club Growth
- Drive retail sales, wine sales, Wine Club memberships, and event referrals through exceptional guest engagement.
- Coach staff on upselling techniques and product knowledge.
- Conduct property tours for prospective event clients when appropriate and collaborate with the Sales Team to generate future business.
Events & Winery Programming
- Coordinate and support wine tastings, educational programs, winery events, weddings, and seasonal festivals.
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, staffing, and guest flow.
- Work collaboratively with Events, Sales, and Winery teams to ensure successful event execution.
Wine Knowledge
- Continue expanding your knowledge of wine, food pairings, and winery offerings.
- Coach and educate staff to confidently represent Rose Bank Winery and its products.
- Stay current on seasonal releases and new products to better educate guests.
Qualifications/Experience
- Associate degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Minimum two years of experience in hospitality, retail, winery operations, or a related customer service industry.
- Minimum one year of leadership or management experience.
- Experience creating and managing employee schedules preferred.
- RAMP Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- Wine knowledge is preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential.

- Experience with POS systems (Shopify preferred) and Google Workspace.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs and move supplies or equipment as needed.
