Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef/Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including supervising team members, managing shift workflow, and ensuring timely food service.
Maintain strict food safety sanitizing procedures and uphold hygiene standards across all kitchen areas.
Assist in menu planning, food production, and inventory management to optimize food quality and minimize waste.
Supervise food handling practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and dietary department requirements.
Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of ingredients.
Lead by example in fostering teamwork, providing training, and supporting staff development within the culinary team.
Support catering events and banquet services by coordinating food preparation and presentation for large-scale functions.
Implement cost control measures while maintaining high standards of food quality and service excellence.
Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills; banquet and catering experience is highly desirable.
Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting; team management skills are essential.
Knowledge of food production processes, food safety sanitizing procedures, and dietary department standards.
Familiarity with inventory management, cost control, and food handling best practices within the food industry.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a diverse team of culinary professionals.
Excellent cooking techniques combined with menu planning expertise to create innovative dishes.
Experience in restaurant management or food service management is a plus.
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
