As a Radioisotope Installation Technologist, you will play a critical role in supporting CDL’s CardioNavix HUB operations. You will be responsible for the installation, removal, and management of Rb-82 generators within the CardioGen82 infusion system, ensuring accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance at every step.
This role operates with a high level of autonomy and requires strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.
- ️ Generator Installation & System Operation

Perform installation and removal of Rb-82 generators within CardioGen82 infusion systems

Operate infusion equipment safely during installation, removal, and quality control processes

Manage radioisotopes in accordance with established protocols and safety procedures
- ️ Radiation Safety & Compliance

Maintain strict compliance with NRC and state regulatory requirements

Follow ALARA principles in all handling of radioactive materials

Prepare spent generators for shipment and ensure compliance with carrier regulations

Complete all necessary documentation for transport and return (including FedEx requirements)

Perform and document all required quality control procedures

Assist in troubleshooting generator or system performance issues

Maintain knowledge of hot lab equipment and QC standards

Partner with Clinical Applications and operations teams to support HUB activity

Assist with in-services, training, and operational support as needed

Maintain professional communication with internal teams and field staff

Complete all required documentation accurately and timely

Ensure all installations and removals meet operational and safety standards

Work the hours necessary to complete installations and QC processes properly

Strong background in Nuclear Cardiology / Cardiac PET imaging

Hands-on experience with CardioGen82 infusion systems or similar hot lab environments

Solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

Willingness to travel nationwide as needed

Travel to multiple sites across the U.S.

Exposure to radiation environments and hot lab settings

Physical activity including standing, lifting, and equipment handling

Must follow all safety protocols and wear required protective equipment at all times
