Overview

Join our dynamic dental team as a Front Desk/Dental Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the smooth operation of our dental practice. This vital role combines front office responsibilities with clinical assisting duties, ensuring exceptional patient care from check-in to treatment completion. You’ll be the friendly face that greets patients, manages appointments, and assists our dental professionals with clinical procedures, all while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and infection control. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting dedicated to delivering top-quality dental care.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and manage appointment scheduling using patient management software such as Eaglesoft.
Prepare patient charts and ensure all medical documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
Assist dental professionals during procedures, including chairside assisting with instruments, dental x-ray imaging, and maintaining aseptic techniques.
Take and process digital X-rays , ensuring proper image quality and safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting or as a dental assistant is highly preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology, equipment operation (including X-ray machines), and sterilization procedures is required.
Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and healthcare safety standards.
Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking medical imaging (X-ray), and assisting with various dental procedures including oral surgery or prosthodontics.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry cases.
Certification in Dental Assisting or related training is preferred
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies.
