In this role, you'll lead an established team of sales professionals who are engaged, coachable, and eager to continue growing. Your focus will be helping them strengthen their technical knowledge, develop their sales skills, and continue building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Spend Your Time Doing
- Coach and develop an established sales team through regular ride-alongs, one-on-one coaching, and ongoing feedback.
- Lead weekly sales meetings focused on technical training, sales development, and accountability.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and mentor new sales team members.
- Review sales opportunities and contracts while helping the team improve both sales performance and the customer experience.
- Partner closely with Operations and Production to ensure projects are sold accurately and customers are set up for success.
- Monitor key performance indicators and use data to identify coaching opportunities and improve team performance.
- Foster a culture where communication, learning, and continuous improvement are part of the team's everyday routine.
What Success Looks Like
Within Your First 90 Days
- Build trust and credibility with the sales team.
- Learn the company's products, services, systems, and sales process.
- Begin leading weekly sales meetings and conducting ride-alongs with team members.
- Establish yourself as a coach and resource for the team.
Within Six Months
- Implement a consistent coaching rhythm through ride-alongs and documented feedback.
- Establish an ongoing technical training plan that strengthens the team's product knowledge and confidence.
- Confidently review and approve sales opportunities while continuing to develop the team.
- Build strong working relationships across Sales, Operations, and Production.

- Develop a sales organization known for technical expertise, accountability, and an outstanding customer experience.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a leader who enjoys helping others succeed and understands that great sales teams are built through consistent coaching, clear expectations, and strong leadership.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience leading and coaching a residential, in-home, or consultative sales team.
- Construction, home improvement, building materials, or another related industry background.
- A proven ability to coach, mentor, and hold people accountable.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding sales professionals.
- Comfort using CRM systems, sales reporting, and performance metrics to guide coaching and decision-making.
- A collaborative leadership style and a genuine interest in developing people.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $75,000–$90,000, depending on experience
- Quarterly performance bonus opportunity
- Target total annual compensation: $100,000–$140,000

- This position requires regular field ride-alongs and visits to residential job sites. Are you able to perform the physical aspects of these responsibilities, including navigating uneven terrain, climbing stairs or ladders as needed, entering crawl spaces or basements when necessary, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation?
