We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Head of Sales & Marketing to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and elevate brand awareness across key markets.
Position Overview
The Head of Sales & Marketing will lead the development and execution of the company's commercial strategy, overseeing all sales, brand marketing and trade marketing activities. This executive leader will be responsible for accelerating growth, managing distributor relationships, expanding on- and off-premise distribution, and building a high-performing commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
· Develop and execute national and regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
· Build and manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key on-premise accounts.
· Identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies.
· Lead annual sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
· Negotiate pricing, promotions, and commercial agreements with key partners.
· Monitor distributor performance and ensure execution against brand objectives.
· Recruit, coach, and manage regional sales teams and brand ambassadors.
· Oversee ecom platform and partnerships
Marketing & Brand Strategy
· Develop and execute integrated marketing plans aligned with brand vision and business goals.
· Drive omni-channel consumer acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies.
· Oversee digital marketing, social media, influencer partnerships, PR, events, and experiential activations.
· Lead brand positioning, messaging, packaging, and creative development.
· Manage marketing budgets and measure ROI across all channels.
· Utilize consumer insights and market research to inform brand strategy.
Trade Marketing & Commercial Execution
· Create trade marketing programs that drive sell-through and retail visibility.
· Develop promotional calendars and activation programs for distributors and retailers.
· Ensure consistent brand presentation across all consumer and trade touchpoints.
· Collaborate with distributor partners to maximize account penetration and execution.
Strategic Leadership
· Develop annual commercial growth plans and long-term market expansion strategies.
· Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities.
· Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
· Establish KPIs and accountability measures across sales and marketing functions.
· Ensure compliance with all beverage alcohol regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in beverage alcohol, spirits, wine, beer, or luxury consumer goods.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Strong understanding of distributor management and the three-tier alcohol system.
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar sales and marketing budgets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel frequently.
Preferred
- Experience launching or scaling premium or luxury spirits brands.
- Existing industry network across distributors, retailers, and hospitality groups.
- MBA or advanced business qualification.
- Experience in both startup and high-growth environments.
- Spirits industry experience with strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and hands-on execution capabilities

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $75k – $115k/Performance-Based Bonus Structure
