Territory: West Coast Florida, Panhandle, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi – Monthly Travel

Seeking Applicants located between Tampa & Naples Florida

Take ownership of a dynamic, high-impact territory role where no two days are the same. Propspeed is the world's leading foul-release coating for propellers and underwater running gear - a New Zealand-founded global marine brand trusted by boatyards, applicators, distributors, OEMs and boat builders across 60+ countries. We are looking for a driven, technically credible sales professional to own the Gulf Coast market and build the relationships that drive long-term growth.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the CEO (with dotted line to the National Sales Manager), you are the face of Propspeed across the Gulf Coast - owning revenue growth, distributor management, channel relationships, technical training and market development across West Coast Florida, Texas, and Louisiana with secondary coverage of Alabama and Mississippi.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Drive sales to distributors, boatyards, prop shops, dealerships, retailers and other marine businesses.
Manage and coach distributor sales teams to maximize territory revenue and exceed regional budgets including rep ride-alongs, joint customer trainings, lunch-n-learns, etc.
Deliver frequent in-person and online product training, sales demos and technical support.
Build a robust, high-converting pipeline of new opportunities across recreational and commercial marine.
Maintain and grow key customer relationships for strong long-term industry partnerships.
Resolve technical enquiries and customer challenges, turning them into loyalty-building moments.
Maintain daily CRM records (visits, demos, pipeline) and use reporting output to drive sales action.
Manage in-territory trade shows, distributor shows and regional events that deliver real ROI.
Provide timely market intelligence and competitor feedback back to the global HQ team.
Coordinate with other regions and departments to align sales and marketing strategy.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

5+ years of proven B2B sales experience in the marine industry.
Experience with marine coatings, the boatyard business and marine distribution channels.
Key account management experience and a track record of year-on-year revenue growth.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills - verbal and written.
Strong CRM discipline and proficiency across Microsoft Office tools (Email, Power Point Excell).
High energy, solutions-based mindset with an entrepreneurial, go-getter attitude.
A genuine passion for the marine industry and pride in representing a world-class brand.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform hands-on coating applications under vessels.
Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight and out-of-market trips.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base Salary: Commensurate with experience

Vehicle Allowance: Vehicle allowance paid through payroll, with business-related fuel purchases covered in accordance with Company policy.

Performance Bonus: Annual commission on achievement and over-achievement of budgeted sales

Time Off: 4 weeks paid vacation + 5 Values Days (Birthday, Volunteering Day, 2 × Personal Days, Family Day)

Equipment: Provided

Induction: Hands on technical training with the Propspeed National Sales Manager as well as online training with the Technical Manager, and CEO as required
