Position Summary
The Full-Stack Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, administering, and supporting the Company's public-facing websites, internal web applications, databases, web servers, cloud-based services, and related development infrastructure.
This position works across both front-end and back-end technologies and serves as a primary technical resource for the Company's web-related platforms and services. The Full-Stack Developer is expected to independently troubleshoot technical issues, develop and implement solutions, maintain appropriate technical documentation, and collaborate effectively with internal departments and other stakeholders.

Essential Job Responsibilities
· Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the Company's websites, including www.bkprecision.com, and internal web applications, including MyBK, within the Company's Laravel web stack, currently Laravel version 12.x.
· Design, develop, test, and maintain customer-facing front-end interfaces and reusable web components using technologies including AlpineJS, Livewire, and TailwindCSS 3.x.
· Develop, maintain, integrate, and optimize back-end APIs.
· Incorporate and maintain content management system functionality for internal teams and non-developer content contributors using FilamentPHP.
· Design, develop, maintain, and optimize databases, database architecture, and database queries using MySQL 8 and Eloquent ORM.
· Monitor, troubleshoot, configure, maintain, and deploy Linux-based web servers utilizing Nginx and related technologies.
· May serve as the primary administrator for Company web-related services, including AWS, DigitalOcean, Cloudflare, and other applicable platforms.
· Serve as the primary administrator for web-development projects utilizing Git-based workflows, including GitHub and Bitbucket.
· Mat m`anage source control, repositories, branches, deployments, permissions, and related development processes.
· Troubleshoot application, server, database, networking, integration, performance, and deployment issues.
· Identify opportunities to improve website and application performance, security, reliability, usability, and maintainability.
· Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation for web applications, websites, servers, databases, integrations, configurations, and related projects.
· Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate those requirements into effective technical solutions.
· Test applications, interfaces, updates, and integrations to identify and resolve defects before production deployment.
· Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and security of Company systems, credentials, data, proprietary information, and other confidential information.
· Follow Company information-security, access-control, change-management, and technology policies and procedures.
· Maintain regular and reliable attendance consistent with the requirements of the position.
· Perform other job-related duties consistent with the purpose and essential functions of the position.
Minimum Skills, Education, and Knowledge
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.
· Familiarity with the Laravel framework and demonstrated proficiency with Laravel functionality, including Eloquent, Artisan, Tinker, Requests, Events, Queues, and Jobs.
· Knowledge of multiple front-end languages, technologies, and libraries, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
· Knowledge of back-end programming languages and technologies, including PHP and Node.js.
· Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and development technologies, including Vue.js, React, and Vite.
· Familiarity with relational databases, including MySQL and SQLite.
· Familiarity with web-server technologies, including Apache and Nginx.
· Working knowledge of UI/UX design concepts and web-development best practices.
· Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems using appropriate analytical and troubleshooting methods.
· Strong technical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.
· Strong time-management and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects, assignments, priorities, and deadlines.

Desired Skills and Knowledge
· Previous professional experience working with the Laravel framework in a production environment.
· Experience implementing and maintaining payment-processing APIs, including Stripe or similar payment platforms.
· General knowledge of related information-technology systems and services, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, caching technologies, key-value stores, and proxy services.
· Familiarity with command-line and terminal-based workflows, including Bash scripting, user and group administration, and grep.
· Familiarity with Unix/Linux technologies and administration, including SSH, systemd, cron jobs, sudo, and rsync.
· Familiarity with container-based software-development environments, including Docker and Docker Compose.
· Familiarity with the Laravel ecosystem and related development tools, including Forge, Sail, Valet, Mix, Telescope, and Jetstream.
· Familiarity with Linux distributions, with Debian-based systems preferred.
