Company Overview:
Hal Hays Construction, Inc. is a dynamic and award-winning mid-size family-owned Native American Construction company located in Riverside, CA. We specialize in Heavy Civil, Utility, and Infrastructure related projects, providing exceptional services to our clients. With our strong commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation, we have built a reputation as a trusted leader in the industry.
Position Summary:
We're hiring a skilled laborer with hands-on wet utility experience to join our growing and award winning team for project throughout Southern California. This position requires strict adherence to all safety standards. Must wear required personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots, etc.) and participate in safety trainings and meetings. The candidate is required to work in compliance with all safety policies.
What you'll do Lay sewer, storm drain, and water lines — bedding, jointing, alignment to grade, and backfill. When pipe work isn't on the schedule, you'll roll into general labor on whatever's running: concrete, grading support, demo, asphalt patch, traffic control, and yard work. This is the honest pitch — we don't have year-round pipe work, so we need someone who shows up ready to put in a day no matter what the task is.
