Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Bilingual Spanish Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) specializing in Spanish! In this vital role, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized behavioral intervention plans for children and young individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will empower families and caregivers through comprehensive assessments, data-driven strategies, and compassionate patient care. As a BCBA Bilingual Spanish, you will be at the forefront of transforming lives by applying evidence-based practices in behavioral health and special education, all while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
Design, oversee, and modify behavior intervention programs grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data meticulously to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
Provide training, supervision, and support to behavior technicians and caregivers to ensure fidelity of interventions across settings.
Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to safeguard confidentiality.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including special educators, therapists, and medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
Educate families on behavioral strategies, progress updates, and medical terminology to foster active participation in treatment.

Skills

Proven experience in behavioral therapy techniques with children and individuals with developmental disabilities.
Strong working knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies and data collection tools.
Exceptional ability to perform patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Fluency in Spanish is required; excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English are essential for effective engagement.
Familiarity with medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, medical records management, and medical terminology.
Ability to work collaboratively within behavioral health teams while providing patient-centered care.
