Full Job Description

The Business Intake Specialist will assist the business customer service team and sales team to ensure that new business sales orders are accurately input into the system.

Day-to-Day Duties:

Maintain productive relationships with business sales representatives

Monitor and handle intake sales email queue

Oversee and maintain the sales database for accurate order submissions

Create accounts and generate service orders

Additional Duties:

Collaborate daily with team members to handle day-to-day duties

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Business Degree or equivalent work experience

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

To be an effective Business Intake Specialist, an individual must be:
Cross functional communicator
Proficient with numbers
Capable of providing quality partnership to a large sales team
Attention to detail

Strong communication and IT fluency
Creative problem-solving abilities
In-depth knowledge of the industry and current events
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
Skill in prioritizing and managing day-to-day duties
Excellent time management and organizational skills
High degree of organization, attention to detail, and multitasking ability
Sound judement, maturity, and discretion in handling sensitive information
Exceptional verbal communication skills, with a high degree of diplomacy, collaboration, and problem-solving
Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse internal customers
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in keyboarding, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
High energy and flexibility to manage diverse responsibilities and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

REQUIREMENTS:

Remain stationary for extended periods
Ability to communicate information
Ability to operate a computer
work in office full time or hybrid
