Full Job Description

The Basics

$25 an hour, 30 hours a week (W2)
You pick your schedule, and we keep it consistent. Six hours a day, inside our 9:00 to 5:00 Eastern window. For example: Monday can be 9:00 to 3:00 and Tuesday can be 11:00 to 5:00. What matters is that your week looks the same every week, so clients and the owner know when to find you.
Paid national holidays. We do not offer health insurance at this time.
No nights. No weekends. No travel. No on call. When you sign off, you are signed off.
Once in a while a bigger project means extra hours if you want them.
Fully remote, US based. We are in Norfolk, VA, with a soft preference for local candidates (for in-person meetings and workdays) but remote is genuinely fine.
We provide the software. You provide the computer, internet, webcam, and a quiet space for client calls.
Start date: as soon as we find the right person.

About Us

Elevated Advisor helps independent financial advisors book retirement-focused appointments. You will work very closely with the owner who runs the day-to-day operations, and interact with a mix of in-house and outsourced teams.

You would be the second person inside the business, and the point where all of that connects. If you want a big team around you, this is not that. If you want work where what you do is meaningful and clear, it is exactly that.

We have spent the last stretch moving this business off spreadsheets and manual steps and onto software we built ourselves. Most of it is live. What we need now is someone to help finalize it and verify the transition actually landed: every advisor configured correctly, every automation firing when it should. Early on there is more checking and catching than there will be later.

The Work

Onboarding. Take new advisors from signed agreement to launch. Set up calendars, CRM sub-accounts, and forms.
Client support. Be the first person advisors talk to. Solve what you can, route what you cannot, and follow through until it is actually done.
Billing. Work with our finance team on invoicing. Track who has paid and who needs a nudge. Bring the hard conversations to the owner rather than sitting on them.
Account checks. Sweep advisor accounts to confirm setups are still right, and catch the quiet problems before a client does.
Admin. Keep trackers current, handle meeting follow-up, and take small recurring jobs off the owner's plate.
Project Management. When new projects pop up, help the owner keep all parties on track with to do lists, nudges, and coordination.
Miscellaneous. This is a small, boutique operation so everyone wears multiple hats, you may get handed one-off tasks, or asked to help take things off the owners plate from time to time.

What We Need

You do not need to be overly technical, but you should be able to connect a calendar to a scheduling tool and fix it when it disconnects, work confidently inside a CRM, follow a written setup guide without hand-holding, and look up an error before asking for help. GoHighLevel/ Zapier experience is a big plus.

Beyond that: organized, relentless on follow-up, warm with people, and calm when technology makes someone tense.

You should also be comfortable using AI tools daily. We use them to help qualify leads and to work faster behind the scenes. We do not use them to replace real human support, which is a big part of why this role exists.

Who This Is For

This role is for someone who likes bringing order to disorder. We are close to where we want to be, but the business keeps evolving, and that means the systems keep evolving too. A process you build in September might get rebuilt in November because we found a better way.

If you want a checklist that stays the same all year, you would be unhappy here. If you are the person who looks ahead, sees what needs to happen, and gets it written down so it runs the same way every time, this is a good seat.

We are always striving to be better and are looking for someone who wants the same.

One thing that does not change: your schedule. The work shifts. Your hours do not.

How We Work

Slack during your hours, replying quickly. Camera on for check-ins and every scheduled meeting. Some meetings get booked the same day, so plan to be camera ready during your hours. Outside your hours, nothing touches you.

Things come up. A school closure, a sick day at home, an appointment you could only get at 1:30 on a Tuesday. Give us a heads-up and we work around it. The only thing that does not work here is going quiet.

As the company grows, this role can grow with it. We are looking for someone who wants to take on more over time, not someone looking to coast.

You will have access to billing, client records, and credentials, so we ask for a background check before you start.

One note on resumes: If you have been out of the workforce for a stretch and are looking for the right thing to come back to, that is not a strike against you here. We care about what you can do now, not the shape of the last few years.

We will be looking at your camera, audio, lighting, and background, along with how clearly you explain things. That is not us being picky. You will be on camera with advisors, often on short notice, so your setup is part of the job. If your equipment needs an upgrade before you start, tell us and we can talk about it.

An on-camera interview. A real conversation about the work and about you.

A short paid trial task. About an hour, paid at our hourly rate. We want to see how you work through a real problem, and you get to see what the work actually looks like.

A conversation with the owner, and then a decision.
