We are seeking an accomplished healthcare executive with a proven track record of leadership in freestanding inpatient psychiatric hospital operations. This opportunity is ideally suited for a successful Behavioral Health Hospital CEO or COO, as well as a proven hospital executive who is ready to advance into a CEO role.
The CEO will have overall responsibility for the hospital's operations, financial performance, clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, staffing and leadership development, strategic planning, business development, and community relationships.

Key Responsibilities
The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the hospital, including:
- Overall hospital operations and financial performance
- Clinical quality, patient safety, and performance improvement
- Budgeting and achievement of financial and operational goals
- Recruitment, development, engagement, and retention of hospital leadership and staff
- Regulatory compliance and survey readiness
- Strategic planning and implementation of hospital growth initiatives
- Development and expansion of behavioral health services
- Census development and business development
- Physician and referral-source relationship development
- Community outreach and market development
- Collaboration with corporate and regional leadership
- Development of a high-performing, accountable, patient-centered culture
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should demonstrate:
- 2+ years of senior executive leadership experience as a CEO, COO, executive director, director of behavioral health or comparable operational leader within an inpatient psychiatric hospital or inpatient psych setting.
- Significant experience in freestanding inpatient behavioral health/psychiatric hospital operations preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral health operations, financial performance, quality, compliance, and growth
- Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and applicable state and federal healthcare regulations
- Demonstrated success in driving census growth and developing referral relationships
- Experience building, developing, and retaining high-performing leadership teams
- Strong physician, employee, and community-relations skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to successfully balance clinical quality, patient safety, employee engagement, financial performance, and business development
