Full Job Description

At Thrive Child Psychology, we are growing our team of compassionate, dedicated psychologists who aim to provide evidence-based services to improve the lives of children and families. We believe that for our clinicians to provide the best care possible, they must also have optimal well-being. We offer a collaborative environment that enables our providers to focus on their service delivery, without the administrative stress associated with managing a business.

We are currently seeking licensed or license-eligible psychologists (post-doctoral fellows) with experience providing comprehensive psychological evaluations and psychotherapeutic interventions to children and adolescents with a broad range of academic, social-emotional, and behavioral challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct psychological/psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents with symptoms of ADHD, ASD, and/or specific learning disabilities
Provide individual and group psychotherapy to children and adolescents for concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, executive functioning deficits, and anger control challenges
Provide family therapy and parent coaching for youth with disruptive behavior disorders
Work with culturally diverse individuals and groups in an appropriate and effective manner
Consult with medical (i.e., pediatricians, psychiatrists) and educational professionals for case collaboration
Complete clinical paperwork (e.g., treatment plan, progress notes, evaluation reports) in a timely fashion
Collaborate with colleagues through peer supervision and monthly team meetings

Applicant Requirements

Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program
Licensed or License-Eligible (Post-Doc) in the state of Illinois
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience with children and adolescents
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
