This is a health and safety position that encompasses activities related to the well-being of employees including:
- Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace
- Identifying potential workplace hazards, unsafe equipment, work practices, and working conditions
- Investigating accidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent reoccurrences
- Participate in risk assessments, new equipment safety releases, industrial hygiene air sampling and noise monitoring, OSHA recordkeeping, and teammate training and orientation
- Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to employee health and safety
- Maintaining and analyzing records of workplace injuries, illness, and absences to identify areas of concern and provide information required by regulatory agencies
- The starting salary range for this role is $65,000; in addition a variable incentive bonus may occur annually based on plant performance.
Pay Range: $66,200.00 - $102,600.00

Requires a BS in Biology/Chemistry/Industrial Hygiene/Occupational Health & Safety or related field or equivalent and 2+ years full-time industrial hygiene experience; OR MS in Industrial Hygiene/Public Health or related field and minimal industrial hygiene experience. CAIH or CIH preferred.

BS Safety Management or related field or equivalent and 2+ years full-time safety and health experience; OR MS Safety Management or related field and minimal safety and health experience. ASP preferred.
