Position: Temp Human Resources Recruiter

Archon Resources is currently looking for a Temp Human Resources Recruiter to join one of our best clients located in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a contract position for a period of 6-12 months to work on a specific project.
Summary:
The Human Resources Recruiter – Temporary supports full-cycle talent acquisition and recruitment operations for a high-volume hiring environment. Working under the direction of a supervisor, this position is responsible for efficiently moving job openings through the recruitment process while maintaining compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
The Recruiter works closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to support organizational staffing needs, maintain accurate recruitment records, provide a positive candidate experience, and identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned phases of the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Manage a high volume of active job requisitions while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and established timelines.
- Develop and implement effective strategies for attracting qualified candidates, including creating, posting, and optimizing job advertisements.
- Coordinate with external advertising platforms and vendors to support the placement and management of job postings.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, clarify position requirements, and support alignment with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers and interview panels, managing scheduling logistics across multiple active requisitions.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, including status updates, next steps, interview information, and disposition notifications.
- Provide hiring managers with regular updates regarding candidate activity, pipeline progress, requisition status, and recruitment challenges.
- Manage job requisitions within an applicant tracking system, including opening, updating, maintaining, and closing requisitions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support the preparation and administration of employment offers.
- Initiate, coordinate, and track pre-employment requirements, including background checks and other required screening processes.
- Utilize recruitment and productivity technology to manage workflows, maintain documentation, and track recruitment activity. Primary tools may include an applicant tracking system and Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Forms, Lists, OneDrive, OneNote, and Planner.
- Maintain recruitment tracking spreadsheets and reports on a daily basis, ensuring accurate information regarding open positions, candidate status, and pipeline activity.
- Coordinate with communications or marketing teams, as assigned, to support targeted recruitment and social media campaigns for difficult-to-fill positions.
- Prepare recruitment reports, status updates, and other tracking information as requested.
- Follow established recruitment procedures, standard operating procedures, documentation requirements, and established timelines.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable human resources and employment regulations and ensure recruitment activities comply with organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency, reduce process bottlenecks, and streamline workflows, communicating recommendations to the supervisor.
- Represent the Human Resources function at professional, community, or employment-related events as assigned.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree plus at least one year of professional experience in human resources management; or
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Psychology, or a closely related field, plus at least one year of professional experience in human resources management; or
- An equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Experience managing a high volume of job requisitions while maintaining recruitment timelines and accurate candidate records.
- Demonstrated ability to improve recruitment processes, workflows, and efficiency.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems or human resources information systems, particularly Workday or comparable platforms.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Experience supporting recruitment advertising, employer branding, social media recruiting, or community outreach.
- Professional HR certification such as:
- PHR
- SPHR
- SHRM-CP
- SHRM-SCP
