Instruct and lead groups safely through the course (training provided).
Facilitate participant/group reflection (training provided).
Design a system to recruit and train student course instructors.
Design a system by which the course can be reserved, scheduled and accessed by MCLA student groups, classes, faculty, staff, etc.
Research and advise on appropriate low ropes elements/activities, including any necessary materials.
Research best practices regarding course safety, maintenance, and upkeep.
Develop marketing materials, promote the program, and conduct outreach.
Job Requirements:
Interested in program development and building a new initiative to serve MCLA students and the community at large.
Passionate about high-impact experiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and research skills.
Able to synthesize comprehensive program proposals
Comfort and initiative when working with groups.
Experience participating in and leading team-building activities preferred, not required.
Experience and comfort in outdoor leadership preferred, not required.

This position is only open to current MCLA students.
