Membership Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Salary: $52,000 – 58,000/annual
Position Summary
The Membership Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for driving membership growth, increasing program participation, and strengthening community engagement through proactive sales, relationship building, and marketing execution. This position serves as the primary sales representative for Bousquet Sport, guiding prospective members through the sales process while promoting membership, programs, services, and events.
Working under the direction of the Program & Marketing Manager, the Coordinator develops relationships with prospective and current members, builds community and corporate partnerships, and executes marketing initiatives that support membership acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, relationship-focused, and motivated by achieving measurable results while creating positive experience for prospective and current members.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Sales & Business Development
- Manage membership inquiries, conduct club tours, guide prospective members through enrollment, and maintain consistent follow-up to drive conversions.
- Build relationships with prospective and current members to support membership growth, referrals, engagement, and retention.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline in Club Automation/CRM systems and track leads, sales activity, conversion rates, and results.
- Promote memberships, programs, personal training, racquet sports, camps, events, and other services to increase member engagement and revenue.
- Develop opportunities for corporate memberships, community partnerships, sponsorships, and other business development initiatives.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Execute marketing strategies and campaigns developed by the Program & Marketing Manager across social media, email, website, digital, and print channels.
- Create engaging content and promotional materials, including photography, video, graphics, newsletters, advertisements, and in-club communications.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns promoting memberships, programs, camps, leagues, tournaments, clinics, events, and special promotions.
- Maintain consistent Bousquet Sport branding and messaging across all communication channels and promotional materials.
- Develop community-focused content and promotional opportunities that increase awareness, generate leads, and strengthen the Bousquet Sport brand.
Administration & Performance
- Maintain accurate membership, lead, and sales information in Club Automation and other CRM systems.
- Prepare regular reports on membership sales, lead activity, conversion rates, marketing initiatives, and campaign performance.
- Maintain marketing calendars, organize marketing assets, and coordinate production and distribution of promotional materials.
- Monitor member feedback, marketing performance, business trends and communicate opportunities for improvement to leadership.
- Assist with marketing expense tracking and other projects and initiatives as assigned by the Program & Marketing Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Hospitality, Recreation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, hospitality, recreation, or a membership-based organization.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals, build strong customer relationships, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with social media and digital marketing; proficiency with Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to support club events, sales activities, and community outreach.
Physical Demands
This position requires frequent movement throughout the facility while conducting membership tours, attending programs and events, engaging with members, and capturing marketing content. The Membership Sales & Marketing Coordinator must be able to stand, walk, bend, and occasionally lift promotional materials or equipment up to 40 pounds. The role combines office work with active engagement throughout the club and the surrounding community.
