Are you a relationship-driven sales professional with experience in the municipal water sector? C&S Chemicals is seeking a Sales Representative for our Municipal Water Division to build strong partnerships with municipal water customers while also introducing them to the broader suite of C&S services. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company where you’ll focus on municipal sales but also cross-sell across Industrial Water Treatment, Agricultural Services, and Specialty Solutions.

The Role:

As a Sales Representative for the Municipal Water Division, you will be the primary contact for municipal customers, including water treatment facilities and utilities. You’ll manage relationships, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. Beyond municipal sales, you’ll also have the opportunity to cross-sell C&S’s full range of services, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to your customers. Your key responsibilities include:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal customers, including water treatment facilities, utilities, and government agencies.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the municipal water sector.
Proactively seek opportunities to cross-sell and promote additional C&S services outside of municipal water, including Industrial, Agricultural, and Specialty services.
Deliver professional presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective accounts to meet sales goals.

Account Management & Customer Service

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned municipal accounts.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing responsive service and technical support.
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, coordinating with internal teams as needed.
Regularly review account performance and provide recommendations for product and service optimization.

Collaboration & Reporting

Partner with other business divisions to understand the full suite of C&S offerings.
Collaborate with operations, technical, and account service teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
Share customer insights with internal stakeholders to support product development, service enhancements, and operational improvements.
Monitor municipal water industry trends, regulations, and competitive activity to inform sales strategy.
Provide regular reporting on sales activities, forecasts, and results to sales leadership.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as required.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred. Combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of degree.
5+ years of sales experience in municipal water treatment, chemical services, or related industry.
Experience selling technical solutions with a proven record of sales success.
Strong understanding of municipal water systems and treatment processes.

Working Conditions:

Frequent travel within the assigned region (50-75%).
Work in various environments, including industrial facilities, outdoor treatment sites, and office settings.
May require occasional lifting, climbing, or exposure to hazardous materials in the field
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
