Full Job Description

Doug Backman Construction is looking for a dependable and organized Secretary / Bookkeeper to join our team. We are seeking someone with experience in office administration and bookkeeping who can work independently and help keep our office running smoothly.

Position: Secretary / Bookkeeper
Schedule: Flexible Hours – Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay: $23.00–$30.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Payroll processing
General office and administrative duties
Answering phones and assisting customers
Filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records

Qualifications:

Previous bookkeeping and office administration experience preferred
Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll
Strong organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Proficient with computers and accounting software (Sage experience is a plus)
