One Security is a rapidly growing, Oregon-based security company with a mission to provide top-tier services through a combination of sound business operations, strong employee support, and unmatched customer service.
One Security Company is searching for a highly organized, self-directed, and people-focused Regional Operations Manager to join our growing team in the Coos Bay area. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our security services while supporting the employees who deliver those services.
This is not simply an administrative or scheduling position. As a service-based organization, our success depends heavily on the quality, consistency, accountability, and engagement of our people. The Regional Operations Manager must be comfortable building relationships with employees, maintaining clear expectations, addressing performance concerns, and helping employees succeed in their roles.
The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader who can balance people management with practical problem-solving, staffing needs, and day-to-day operational responsibilities.
This position requires travel in a company vehicle. Assigned sites will primarily be in Coos Bay/North Bend, but will expand to other coastal cities, such as Brookings, Reedsport, and Gold Beach. Work requiring overnight travel will have accommodations paid by One Security.
Responsibilities:
- Manage shift scheduling and ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained across assigned sites,
- Support, coach, and develop employees while maintaining accountability, professionalism, and consistent performance expectations.
- Build productive working relationships with employees and serve as a reliable point of contact for operational questions, concerns, and workplace issues.
- Address employee concerns, performance issues, and operational challenges in a professional and solutions-focused manner.
- Review and approve reports submitted by security officers for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate follow-up.
- Maintain awareness of site operations and identify issues requiring management attention or corrective action.
- Oversee company fleet within the assigned region, including maintenance schedules, vehicle condition, and fuel management.
- Order and manage security equipment and operational supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory control of uniforms and issued equipment.
- Conduct site visits and maintain regular engagement with field employees.
- Work with company leadership to identify staffing gaps, operational concerns, and opportunities to improve service delivery.
- Ensure employees have the information, equipment, and management support necessary to perform their responsibilities successfully.
Operational & Scheduling Expectations
One Security operates security contracts with evening, overnight, weekend, and 24/7 staffing requirements. The Regional Operations Manager is not expected to routinely work security shifts, and regular shift coverage is not the primary purpose of this position.
However, this is a hands-on operational leadership role. Occasional evenings, weekends, overnight involvement, or direct shift coverage may be required when necessary to support operations, respond to an unusual staffing situation, assist the team, or ensure client coverage.
Managers are expected to be willing and able to step into field operations when circumstances require it. One Security does not leave contracted shifts unstaffed.
The expectation is not that the Regional Operations Manager becomes the default solution for open shifts. The expectation is that operational leadership remains engaged and willing to assist when an unusual or urgent circumstance requires management involvement.
People & Leadership Expectations
One Security invests significant time and resources into recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing employees. As a result, cultivating, supporting, and retaining strong employees is an important part of successful operations.
The Regional Operations Manager should be comfortable working with employees from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences and must be able to adjust their communication style to ensure clarity, accountability, and respect.
This position requires a manager who is willing to address problems directly while also understanding that effective employee management involves communication, coaching, consistency, and relationship-building.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership or management experience in operations, logistics, service industries, or similar environments
- Comfortable working in a growing company with an evolving environment and changing processes
- Must be eligible to obtain required Oregon security certifications (including armed certification and TWIC), which requires passing background checks and meeting state requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel with a company vehicle between sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred to have previous experience in operations management or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Operations Management, or a related field, OR equivalent experience.

- Strong comfort in learning and adopting new technologies and software platforms, including scheduling systems, workforce tools, camera/security systems, and other operational technologies used within a growing organization.
- Experience supporting or managing multi-site operations or geographically dispersed teams.
