Huntersville Medical Center (HMC), a 151-bed nonprofit hospital and proud member of Novant Health, is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and visionary President to lead one of the Charlotte region's fastest-growing community hospitals. Since opening in 2005, HMC has experienced remarkable growth in patient volumes, surgical services, emergency care, and women's services while continuing to invest in advanced technology, exceptional clinical outcomes, and an outstanding team member experience. Today, more than 1,100 team members deliver compassionate, high-quality care across a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services, including heart and vascular, orthopedics, women's health, oncology, neuroscience, rehabilitation, and robotic surgery.

As President, you will serve as the senior executive responsible for advancing the hospital's strategic vision, operational excellence, financial performance, and commitment to delivering remarkable patient experiences. You will partner closely with physicians, clinical leaders, team members, and community stakeholders to drive growth, enhance quality and safety, strengthen physician relationships, and ensure the continued delivery of innovative, patient-centered care.

The successful candidate is an inspiring servant leader with demonstrated executive leadership experience in acute care operations, a passion for building high-performing teams, and a proven ability to lead through collaboration, innovation, and accountability. This leader will champion Novant Health's mission, values, and people-first culture while positioning Huntersville Medical Center for continued success and growth in one of the nation's most rapidly expanding healthcare markets.

What We're Looking For:

Education: 4 Year / bachelor’s degree - Healthcare / Business Administration or Related field, required. Graduate Degree - Healthcare / Business Administration or Related field, required.
Experience: 2+ years hospital president experience and working knowledge of all aspects of a large, integrated health system, required. Ideal candidate will have 6-8 years experience in acute care operations, preferred.
Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; possess knowledge of current leadership, management, and business concepts, and the ability to participate in developing and implementing organizational strategies to address opportunities to improve organizational performance.; possess the educational and experiential requirements of leadership; possess personal / professional / educational attributes as defined by federal, state, local laws and regulations.

What You'll Do:

The Facility President for Huntersville Medical Center is responsible for the overall strategic, operational, financial, and clinical performance of the hospital. This executive provides visionary leadership while fostering a culture centered on quality, safety, innovation, accountability, and remarkable patient and team member experiences.

Responsibilities include:

Develop and execute the facility's strategic vision, aligning operational priorities with Novant Health's mission and long-term growth strategy.
Lead hospital operations to achieve excellence in quality, patient safety, financial performance, workforce engagement, and operational efficiency.
Build collaborative relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical leaders, and system executives to advance patient care and service line growth.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Champion high reliability and regulatory compliance while partnering with system quality, legal, regulatory, and operational leaders.
Optimize financial and human resources to ensure long-term sustainability and operational excellence.
Serve as the public face of Huntersville Medical Center, strengthening relationships with community organizations, business leaders, and local stakeholders.
Inspire, develop, and mentor high-performing leadership teams while promoting engagement and professional growth.
Drive strategic initiatives that improve patient experience, access to care, physician alignment, and market growth.
Lead with integrity, courage, transparency, and a steadfast commitment to Novant Health's values.
