Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Account Manager specializing in Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Revenue Cycle management. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the financial health of outpatient surgical facilities by managing all aspects of billing, coding, and reimbursement processes. Your expertise will ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, optimize revenue streams, and foster strong relationships with healthcare providers and payers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead revenue cycle initiatives that directly impact patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end revenue cycle processes for ambulatory surgery centers, including patient registration, billing, coding, claims submission, and collections.
Ensure all billing activities comply with medical billing regulations, Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance third-party billing requirements.
Oversee the accurate application of medical coding, including ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding, to facilitate precise reimbursement.
Monitor and resolve claim denials and rejections promptly to maximize revenue recovery.
Maintain thorough knowledge of healthcare billing management practices and electronic health records (EHR) management systems to streamline workflows.
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation supporting billing and coding accuracy.
Lead a team of billing specialists by providing guidance on hospital revenue cycle management best practices and fostering continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on evolving healthcare billing regulations, including Medicaid and Medicare regulations, to ensure ongoing compliance.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of medical billing regulations compliance across federal and state programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, analysis, and documentation purposes.
Experience with billing software platforms used in healthcare settings for claims processing and revenue cycle tracking.
Strong understanding of health insurance policies, including private payers, Medicaid, and Medicare regulations.
Demonstrated ability to manage hospital revenue cycle management processes effectively.
Expertise in healthcare billing management, medical coding (ICD coding), and medical billing best practices.
Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate data entry and retrieval.
Leadership skills with experience in team management within a healthcare environment.
