Full Job Description

Location: Rosemont, IL, United States

Proteintech is an international biotechnology company that manufactures antibodies, ELISA kits, and proteins for use in life science research. Minimum Education: U.S. Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Biotechnology, Immunology, Biology, Bioengineering or related field

Minimum Experience: 12 months

Job Description:

Design (conceptualize and develop) antigens for antibody production, including proteins, peptides, and nucleotides

Perform in-depth analyses of protein structures and guide peptide design, including strategic modifications to optimize efficacy, stability, and specificity.

Review, evaluate and implement diverse conjugation methodologies and carrier protein chemistries to enhance antibody development and research outcomes.

Develop and optimize methodologies for protein purification and recombinant antibody generation, ensuring reproducibility, accuracy, and high-quality results.

Establish, refine, and standardize laboratory workflows through comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs), improving efficiency, consistency, and compliance.

Lead the design and execution of rigorous protein purification, characterization, and validation protocols, supporting innovative research initiatives.

Oversee the launch of Research Use Only (RUO) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) products, including technology transfer to manufacturing teams with complete documentation and work instructions.

Conduct meticulous data analysis, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and reliability, and present findings to internal stakeholders, collaborators, and external clients.

Provide leadership and mentorship to junior scientists, fostering skill development, scientific rigor, and adherence to best research practices.

Supervise, guide, and coordinate team activities, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth within the laboratory.

Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation, supporting a safe and productive research environment.

Salary: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00
