Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and foster a thriving, compliant, and engaged workforce. In this pivotal role, you will oversee comprehensive human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. Your energetic leadership will drive workforce strategies that align with our company's goals, ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining adherence to employment laws and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our HR landscape and contribute to our overall success through innovative HR practices and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent through effective sourcing channels such as ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), social media management, and HRIS platforms like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.
Lead onboarding processes by designing comprehensive employee orientation programs that promote engagement and retention from day one.
Manage employee evaluation cycles by implementing performance management systems, conducting reviews, and fostering continuous feedback cultures.
Oversee benefits administration, including health plans, workers' compensation claims, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) compliance, and other employee benefits programs.
Drive change management initiatives by guiding organizational design projects, succession planning efforts, and workforce management strategies to support growth and transformation.
Ensure regulatory compliance across all HR functions by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance standards, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning.
Facilitate training & development programs aimed at enhancing skills in areas such as conflict management, HR legal updates, and leadership development.
Handle sensitive confidential information with integrity while managing personnel administration tasks like contracts, data collection, data entry, and payroll processing using systems such as ADP or Paychex.
Promote positive employee relations through effective communication skills, conflict resolution strategies, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture aligned with organizational values.

Experience

Proven experience in human resources management within a fast-paced environment with a strong understanding of HR department operations.
Extensive knowledge of employment law in talent management, workers' compensation procedures, OSHA standards, and HR legal compliance requirements.
Demonstrated expertise in human capital management tools such as Oracle HCM, UltiPro, Kronos or Dayforce for workforce planning and payroll processing. ( if you have used other platforms before, we are open to learn and discuss )
Skilled in project management with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail through tools like Microsoft Office (Excel data analysis), Salesforce or Lever for recruiting efforts.
Experience handling employee relations issues with professionalism while managing conflict resolution processes effectively.
Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors for personnel administration and data collection purposes is highly desirable.

We are looking for someone who will be close to Bismarck starting out, available to be in/near office, Fully remote with the occasional office visit down the line may be negotiable and not out of the picture.
