Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Acute Care) – travel assignment in Fargo, North Dakota, United States. Start date: 09/14/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,938–$2,059 per week. Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to residents within a long-term care facility, following the approved plan of care.
Conduct initial and ongoing patient evaluations; develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, mobility, and functional independence.
Monitor progress, adjust goals and treatment strategies as needed, and document outcomes in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, physicians, therapy aides, social work) to coordinate care and support discharge planning.
Educate residents and families on therapy plans, home exercise programs, and adaptive equipment use; promote patient safety and fall prevention.
Maintain infection control, safety standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements during therapy sessions.

Requirements

Active North Dakota license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (or eligible for licensure under state requirements)
Graduation from an accredited OTA program
Experience in acute care or long-term care settings preferred
Ability to work effectively in a long-term care facility environment
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Familiarity with rehabilitation concepts and plan-of-care development
