In this role, you will support the company's safety training and compliance programs by coordinating, delivering, and documenting training that ensures drivers and staff operate safely and in accordance with all legal and company standards. You will collaborate closely with safety, orientation, maintenance, and operations teams to identify training needs, administer coaching, and maintain accurate records. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, regulatory awareness, and the ability to respond effectively to diverse safety‑related situations in a fast‑paced environment.
- Safety Training Leadership // Lead and support safety training operations by collaborating with safety and orientation personnel to deliver compliant, effective programs.
- Driver Evaluation // Conduct road tests for new and current drivers and provide coaching as teaching opportunities arise.
- Regulatory Compliance // Facilitate training that aligns with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, environmental codes, and other regulatory requirements.
- Incident Review // Review, process, document, and report incidents in accordance with legal and company procedures.
- Load Securement Support // Provide on‑demand coaching and consultation on load securement and assist other departments as requested.
- Cross‑Department Coordination // Partner with safety, maintenance, operations, and other departments to address safety needs and resolve concerns.
- On‑Call Support // Participate in the safety department on‑call rotation when assigned, offering after‑hours support within scheduled periods.
- Communication Skills // Communicate professionally with drivers, staff, and external partners to support safety initiatives.
- Coaching Ability // Provide constructive coaching, feedback, and conflict resolution for a diverse range of individuals.
- Time Management // Prioritize tasks effectively in a safety‑sensitive environment with changing deadlines.
- Regulatory Awareness // Maintain knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and related safety regulations and procedures.

A high school diploma and at least two (2) years of experience in a risk and/or safety role. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

- Time Management // Demonstrated ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a safety‑sensitive environment.
- Safety Knowledge // Understanding of general safety practices and risk mitigation.

- Trucking Experience // At least one (1) year of experience in a trucking or transportation environment.
- Supervisory Experience // At least one (1) year of experience in a supervisory role.
- Active Class A CDL // Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card.
- Salary // Pay will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
- Schedule // This position is located in Fargo, ND and is on‑site. The working days are Monday–Friday, and the working hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
