Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oral Surgeon to join our dynamic dental team in Sacramento. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive surgical care, including complex dental extractions, implant placements, and other advanced oral procedures. Your expertise will ensure patients receive exceptional care in a welcoming environment, emphasizing comfort, safety, and optimal outcomes. Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures such as dental extractions, wisdom teeth removal, and implant placements with precision and care.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, to develop personalized treatment plans.
Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques to diagnose conditions accurately and plan surgical interventions effectively.
Maintain meticulous medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
Collaborate seamlessly with general dentists, pediatric dentists, prosthodontists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on preoperative preparations, postoperative care, and ongoing oral health maintenance for optimal recovery and satisfaction.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to oral surgery.
Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Practice Web
Expertise in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce procedure time.
Familiarity with medical imaging tools like X-rays or CBCT scans for accurate diagnosis.
Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate patient care while managing complex cases involving infection control and medical records management.
