Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Order Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering high-volume customer orders into the company's ERP or order management system. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily order processing deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Accurately enter high-volume customer orders into the ERP or order management system.

 Review customer purchase orders and order requests for completeness and accuracy.

 Verify product information, quantities, pricing, shipping instructions, and customer

requirements.

 Identify missing or conflicting order information and obtain clarification before processing.

 Maintain a high level of data entry accuracy and productivity.

 Process orders in accordance with established timelines and departmental procedures.

 Communicate with Customer Service, Sales, Production, Shipping, and other departments

regarding order requirements.

 Assist with resolving order discrepancies and data entry errors.

 Update customer and order information as necessary.

 Maintain organized electronic and physical order documentation.

 Protect confidential customer and company information.

 Meet established department performance, accuracy, and productivity expectations.

 Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

 1–3 years of experience in order entry, customer service, data entry,

 Previous experience entering customer orders strongly preferred.

 Experience working with an ERP or order management system preferred.

 Strong computer and keyboarding skills.

 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

 Strong organizational and time-management skills.

 Ability to prioritize multiple orders and assignments.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
