Full Job Description

Position Summary

Unicorn Tire Corp. is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, negotiating, and managing the supply of logs, lumber, and related raw materials within the agriculture and forest products industry. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English, possessing strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages. This role requires frequent communication with domestic and international suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will have strong negotiation skills and experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.

This is a full-time, onsite position that works closely with suppliers, operations, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure a consistent and cost-effective supply of materials. The Procurement Specialist will also collaborate with departments across Unicorn Tire Corp. and its sister companies, Efans Lift and Dragon Woodland, to support purchasing activities, supplier relationships, inventory planning, and overall business objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Forestry, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of 1–3 years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience preferred.
Fluent bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken, written, and reading) is required.
Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and build relationships with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, vendors, and business partners.
Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
Knowledge of forest products, raw materials, manufacturing, or agricultural supply chains is preferred.
Ability to analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP or procurement systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
