Full Job Description

Hallmark Care Center is seeking a highly organized, service-driven professional to serve as our Human Resources/Business Office Manager. This unique leadership role combines human resources, payroll, business office operations, and resident financial services. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, solving problems, maintaining compliance, and helping both employees and residents have an exceptional experience.

What You'll Do

Human Resources

Lead full-cycle recruitment and hiring efforts
Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation
Process payroll and maintain employee records
Manage employee compliance, licenses, and required training
Coordinate FMLA, leave administration, and workers' compensation claims
Partner with leadership on employee relations, investigations, coaching, and disciplinary actions
Assist leaders with employee performance reviews and performance management
Support employee engagement and help foster a positive workplace culture

Business Office

Manage resident accounts receivable and collections
Oversee Medicaid applications and ongoing eligibility tracking
Maintain resident trust accounts and representative payee accounts
Maintain accurate resident electronic records
Coordinate outpatient therapy authorizations
Serve as Transportation Supervisor
Assist with admissions processes as needed
Support daily business office operations while ensuring regulatory and financial compliance

What We're Looking For

Experience in Human Resources, Business Office, Healthcare admin, or a related field preferred
Previous long-term care or healthcare experience is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
Working knowledge of payroll, HR practices, Medicaid, or business office functions is preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn various healthcare software systems
