Tax Manager (public accounting)
Top 25 South Florida CPA Firm located in Coconut Grove, FL with a good family environment and high quality (national firm type) work is looking for tax manager (public accountant). Our accounting firm is merited based (No red tape! No politics! The sky is the limit!). If you are smart and self driven, you will have a long successful and enjoyable career/home at our firm. It's small enough to feel like a family and not be just a number at a firm but we still have very sophisticated clients with complex tax and accounting issues

We are seeking tax managers with 7 to 20 years of public accounting experience (CPA - certified public accountant is preferred but not required). Highly competitive salary and benefit package offered to the qualified tax manager/accountant.

Position Summary for the tax manager / public accountant: Provide technical expertise and application of tax laws to manage the delivery of a full range of tax services while consulting with clients to provide expert advice regarding tax matters and tax planning.

Major Responsibilities for the tax manager / public accountant:

*Manage client service relationships

*Serve as the lead advisor to a variety of specialized tax services that can help improve compliance with taxing entities while maintaining each client’s overall tax risk profile

*Develop and pursue creative strategies while using the latest technologies

*Conduct daily management of clients by delivering all tax consulting services to the client and bringing in specialists when necessary

*Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues related to business transactions and tax implications of financing techniques

*Conduct tax-planning for our corporate, partnership and individual clients

*Develop and motivate staff by providing them with leadership, counseling and career guidance

*Work closely with partners, managers and staff to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development

*Maintain strong client relationships

*Develop, train, motivate and mentor staff on tax projects providing them with counseling and career guidance; assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews

*Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met and lead change efforts effectively

*Consult, work with and service clients to make recommendations on business and process improvements and serve as a business advisor to clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
