Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef/Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. This role combines creative culinary leadership with strategic management, ensuring exceptional food quality, outstanding service, and a vibrant dining experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and possess extensive experience in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management. Duties

Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
Oversee food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency across all menu items.
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining cost efficiency and ingredient availability.
Manage inventory control and food safety sanitizing procedures to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail in timing, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor food service operations during shifts, including supervising food handling, serving processes, and ensuring excellent hospitality standards.
Implement cost control measures related to food production, labor, and supplies to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and cleanliness to uphold operational efficiency.
Collaborate with management on staffing schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations to develop a high-performing team.

Experience

Proven experience in food industry leadership roles such as Head Chef or Restaurant Manager with a focus on fine dining or catering environments.
Extensive background in supervising kitchen staff, managing food production processes, and implementing food safety protocols.
Demonstrated success in menu planning, cost control, inventory management, and shift management within a hospitality setting.
Strong banquet experience along with catering expertise for large-scale events or special functions.
Familiarity with dietary department procedures and managing diverse dietary requirements for guests.
Experience overseeing food service operations in restaurant or hospitality environments with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Leadership skills in managing teams as a chef while fostering a collaborative work culture focused on excellence.
Knowledge of food handling regulations, sanitizing procedures, and kitchen safety practices essential for maintaining compliance.
