Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Route Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a designated route/territory, delivering products, and providing exceptional customer service. Based in North Platte and servicing our customers in the Central & Western Nebraska territory. Customers include grocery, c-store, liquor stores, smoke shops, and other independent locations.

Responsibilities

Drive along assigned routes to sell and deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding product offerings, promotions, and pricing.
Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during each visit.
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, inventory levels, and customer interactions via company communication tools.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while adhering to safety regulations.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high service standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in sales or customer service is preferred, with a focus on route driving being a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with customers.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory levels.
Ability to upsell products based on customer needs and preferences.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
