Job Summary

We are on the lookout for a proactive and energetic Experience Barback to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you'll be the backbone behind the bar, ensuring that bartenders have everything they need to serve up great drinks and memorable experiences. You'll handle a variety of tasks, from cleaning and restocking to assisting with food prep and customer service, all while keeping the bar area organized and welcoming. If you thrive in lively environments, enjoy working with people, and have a knack for multitasking, this position is perfect for you!

Responsibilities

Support bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and bar tools to keep service flowing smoothly.
Assist with cleaning duties, including washing glassware, wiping down surfaces, and maintaining overall sanitation of the bar area.
Help with food preparation tasks such as prepping garnishes or simple snacks to enhance guest experience.
Handle manual tasks like heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely and efficiently.
Support in food handling and food service operations during busy times or special events like banquets and catering functions.
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling, order processing, and transactions.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in bar support roles, restaurant work, catering, or food industry environments is highly desirable.
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
Experience with food handling, food preparation, and kitchen operations is beneficial.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and guests.
Knowledge of hospitality standards such as serving, bussing tables, and customer service excellence.
Prior experience with hotel or banquet settings is advantageous but not required.
