Overview
Cocanougher Asset Management, LLC (CAM), is seeking a Junior IT Network and Systems Administrator to support technology operations across CAM entities. This individual will work under the direction of the Senior IT Network and Systems Administrator to assist with network infrastructure, systems administration, endpoint support, user support, documentation, and day-to-day troubleshooting.
This is a hands-on, on-site role based out of the North Richland Hills office, supporting multiple business locations and technology environments. Travel to other CAM entities may be required, including locations 2+ hours from the corporate office.
Key Responsibilities
Network & Infrastructure Support
· Assist with managing and maintaining wired, wireless, and guest network environments.
· Troubleshoot internet, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, firewall, and general connectivity issues.
· Monitor network performance and escalate larger issues as needed.
· Work with internet service providers, vendors, and internal staff to resolve connectivity and infrastructure issues.
· Help maintain network documentation, topology maps, hardware inventory, and configuration notes.
Systems Administration & Endpoint Support
· Support Windows computers, servers, printers, network equipment, and other business technology.
· Assist with user account setup, changes, and deactivation.
· Prepare, configure, and redeploy computers for new and existing employees.
· Assist with patch management, software updates, endpoint protection, antivirus enrollment, and device compliance.
· Monitor backups, system health, and endpoint status as directed.
· Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, printer, and conference room issues
· Document issues, fixes, procedures, and recurring problems.
· POS/payment systems may be supported as needed.
User Support & Troubleshooting
· Provide hands-on support for employees across CAM entities.
· Research unfamiliar technical issues and work through problems to resolution.
· Communicate clearly with users and provide updates while issues are being worked on.
· Complete tasks assigned by the Senior IT Network and Systems Administrator.
· Escalate issues when needed with clear notes, troubleshooting steps taken, and relevant details.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on IT support, helpdesk, networking, or systems administration experience preferred.
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Ubiquiti-related certifications are a plus.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and internet troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting Windows environments, computers, printers, routers, access points, and networked devices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, endpoint protection, patching, backups, and remote support tools preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to research and resolve unfamiliar technical issues.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of IT issues through resolution.
- Ability to balance daily support needs with assigned projects and longer-term IT tasks.
- Willingness to travel to other CAM entities as needed, including locations 2+ hours away.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with POS/payment systems such as Toast, Square, Stripe, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Ubiquiti/UniFi networking equipment.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Google Workspace, or cloud-based administration.
- Basic server monitoring or server administration experience.
- Experience providing remote troubleshooting support.
Employment Type & Schedule
- Full-time, on-site.
- Standard schedule Monday–Friday.
- Occasional after-hours, weekend, or travel support may be required depending on business needs.

Reports To: Senior IT Network and Systems Administrator / Director of Technology
Pay: $48,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
