Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
- Handle all aspects of dough preparation, including mixing, kneading, proofing, and stretching to achieve optimal texture and flavor
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens and slicing tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols, including sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly to prevent contamination
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients like cheese, sauces, toppings, and dough supplies; communicate needs for restocking
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Follow recipe guidelines precisely while demonstrating creativity in developing new pizza varieties or special toppings
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pizza maker, working with hand stretch dough.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures essential for maintaining hygiene standards
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment confidently and efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environment
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining quality standards
