Position Summary
Mass Care Link Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly organized Registered Nurse to serve as an Admissions Manager. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the admissions process, ensuring timely assessments and placements, and supervising the intake team.
The Admissions Manager plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and supporting the continued growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support admissions and intake staff
- Oversee the admissions process to ensure timely assessments and placements
- Coordinate with clinical and operational teams to maintain workflow efficiency
- Monitor incoming inquiries and ensure accurate documentation and follow-up
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal standards
- Support staff training, onboarding, and performance development
- Oversee background checks and general administrative requirements
- Prepare routine reports and support organizational growth initiatives
Qualifications
Required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with elderly or disabled populations
- At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience
Preferred
- Experience in home care, case management, or community-based services
Core Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
- 3 days from the office/ 2 days from home
- Combination of office-based and field responsibilities
- Travel required within assigned service areas
- Ability to work in home environments, including settings without elevator access
