SITE LEAD / PROGRAM MANAGER – NAVY FUTURE SAILOR PREPARATORY COURSE

Location:
Great Lakes, IL (On-Site)

Work will be performed at Recruit Training Command (RTC), Naval Station Great Lakes, Illinois.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract

Position Summary: Language on Demand (LOD) is seeking an experienced Site Lead / Program Manager to oversee the delivery of academic instruction and tutoring services supporting the U.S. Navy Future Sailor Preparatory Course (FSPC). The Site Lead serves as the primary on-site representative responsible for workforce management, instructor supervision, Government coordination, quality assurance, curriculum oversight, reporting, and contract compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Learning Standards Officer (LSO), and Government stakeholders.
Attend weekly Government meetings and provide program updates.
Manage instructor schedules and staffing assignments to maintain required student-to-instructor ratios.
Supervise instructional personnel and curriculum developers.
Monitor instructional quality, student outcomes, and program performance.
Coordinate curriculum implementation and instructional consistency.
Prepare quarterly program reports and performance metrics.
Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and replacement of instructional personnel.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, student record management procedures, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements, and Government policies.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Reading Education, Education, or a closely related field from an accredited institution; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum two (2) years of teaching experience or experience working in a military or similar environment.
Experience supervising educational programs and instructional personnel.
Completion of one of the following:
(1) Military Service Instructor Training Course (ITC)
(2) Instructor training through an accredited academic institution
(3) Academic credentialing or teacher certification
Familiarity with Automated Electronic Classrooms (AECs), Presentation Technology Classrooms (PTCs), Video Teaching and Teleconference (VTT) systems, Electronic Podiums, and classroom technology.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to U.S. military installations.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Navy, or military training programs.
Prior military instructor or educational leadership experience.
Experience managing large instructional teams and academic support programs.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $99,000.00 per year
