Full Job Description

Job SummaryJob DescriptionMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Plan, direct and coordinate the training and development activities for exempt and/or non-exempt employees.</li><li>Ensure applicable, consistent and timely training and provide on-boarding support to new employees as well as on-going, advanced development for existing employees.</li><li>Lead and/or manage training team to ensure consistency in delivery of our training and development programs.</li><li>Oversee onboarding of new hires for a designated region of branches.</li><li>Develop materials and processes to support employees in their acclimation to Medline.</li><li>Monitor new hire retention and new hire survey results to ensure results are being achieved.</li><li>Provide remedial training or course corrections to locations that are not achieving desired results.</li><li>Evaluate current training programs, seek feedback from training participants, and conduct return-on-investment studies.</li><li>Ensure training and development curriculum addresses needs of the designated employee population.</li><li>Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to conduct needs analyses and determine areas of opportunity in training and development.</li><li>Utilize findings to guide creation of new training and development materials.</li><li>Ensure all training and development programs support Medline safety initiatives and</li><li>Maintain records for training programs, including evaluations and employee participation.</li><li>Manage the scheduling of classes, trainers, rooms and other resources.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience planning, coordinating and/or delivering training programs or activities. OR High school diploma and at least 5 years of experience planning, coordinating and/or delivering training programs or activities.</li></ul>Relevant Work Experience:<ul><li>At least 2 years of supervisory experience.</li><li>Experience evaluating information and/or processes to determine department needs.</li><li>Additional Presentation experience (small- to mid-size groups).</li><li>Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: changing picture styles, customizing animation and/or setting automatic slide timings).</li><li>Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling). Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).</li><li>Position requires travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).</li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li>Additional Experience developing and providing training programs intended to engage and educate.</li><li>Experience presenting to audiences representing varied levels of an organization.</li><li>Experience negotiating with outside vendors and internal resources.</li></ul>Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.The anticipated salary range for this position:$92,000.00 - $138,000.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
