Full Job Description

Job Overview

Left Hand Chiropractic and Spinal Decompression is waiting for you to come shine as our Chiropractic Therapy Assistant! We’re a locally owned practice that prioritizes people—our patients and our team.

The Role:

meeting and greeting clients
rooming patients back to the appropriate treatment room
delivering therapeutic modalities such as Spinal Decompression, Shockwave and Cold Laser Therapy (all training provided, no prior experience needed)
performing exam procedures with specialty equipment (all training provided)
directing patient flow making sure patients get through the office efficiently
tracking patients’ appointments both manually and in clinic software
checking in with patients about their rehabilitation exercises and stretches (previous experience a bonus)
excellent communication with patients in person, through email, and text
setting up doctor’s specialty equipment
tidying office, equipment cleaning and maintenance
supporting front desk when needed by answering phones, scheduling patients and keeping a clean environment

Requirements:

is fun, energetic, honest and grounded
this is an active, hands-on position that requires regular movement, standing, and the ability to perform physical job duties throughout the day
has top notch telephone manners, interpersonal and communication skills
experience with Mac computers and iPads
can tackle projects on their own (not be micromanaged)
is proactive, organized, reliable and consistent in their work
a desire to be challenged to learn new skills and grow into roles as needed
is passionate about health and practices what they preach
ability to work in a team of different personalities
experience in a similar health care support role is favorable
enjoys organized chaos
ability to learn new software programs quickly
craves development both personally and professionally

Preferred Qualifications:

experience working in a patient-facing or public-facing job
experience in a healthcare setting (medical assistant, physical therapy office, etc)
basic knowledge of health insurance terms
knowledge and enthusiasm for social media and content creation
experience with chiropractic either personally or professionally

Hours:

This position is for Monday & Thursday from 8:30am-5:30 pm , occasional Fridays and vacation coverage on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (with advanced notice)

Our practice is open for patient care Monday through Thursday from 9am-5pm.
