Major Duties

Under the general supervision, the Administrative Support Assistant II (ASC) provides front office support, schedules student appointments and workshops, maintains financial and personnel records, processes administrative documents, prepares advisement materials, coordinates departmental projects and events, and supports the daily operations of the ACECS Student Services Center/EOP.

Acts as receptionist; assessing student needs and scheduling appointments and workshops.
Makes referrals to appropriate campus units.
Assists ASC and unit director with daily operations: maintains accounts, database system, and financial records.
Initiates service requests, travel requests and reimbursements.
Helps the director, professional advisors, and ASC with projects and events.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Equivalent to three (3) years of full-time, general office clerical work that has provided the applicant with the knowledge and abilities listed.
Equivalent to full-time college or university education/vocational school training in business or job-related field may be substituted for up to two (2) years of the required experience on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Demonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Organizes multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintains confidential records and exercises sound judgment and discretion.
Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleSoft, EAB, and Adobe Sign.
Communicates effectively with students, faculty, staff, and campus partners.
Works independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced administrative environment.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

The university offers an excellent benefits package, including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, retirement & savings, tuition waiver, and more.
Classification: 1032 / Administrative Support Assistant II / Grade 2
The anticipated HIRING RANGE is $3565 – $3783 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $3565 - $5092 per month.
HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday. May include evenings and weekends.
This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
The position is currently hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
