Full Job Description

DDS Dental is looking for a passionate Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. Data Analyst will also make sure all product information is correctly displayed on the website (Big Commerce) and data flows correctly between the site and our ERP System (Sage 100 / MAS 90).

Responsibilities

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that build BI Solutions. that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple business systems, ensuring data integrity and availability for analytics and reporting.
Collaborate with internal business units and external partners to gather requirements, align data and reporting needs, and deliver analytics solutions that support organizational objectives.
Clean, transform, and validate complex datasets from multiple sources, developing structured data models to support accurate analysis and business decision-making.
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
Create and optimize business intelligence solutions to identify process inefficiencies, automate manual workflows, and improve organizational performance.
Work closely with cross-functional business units to translate operational needs into actionable insights, reports, dashboards, and process improvements.
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Skills

Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced Excel Proficiency (Formulas, Data Modeling, PivotTables, Power Query, PowerPivot)
Experience integrating and analyzing data from ERP, CRM, and ecommerce platforms.
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

Preferred Skills

Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience leveraging Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI for data modeling, visualization, and process optimization.
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases management systems (SQL, NOSQL, T-SQL), programming (Python, R, Java, etc)
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, statistical analysis, and segmentation techniques.
Experience developing Python-based automation solutions for data processing, reporting, and system integrations.
MS Degree Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Intelligence.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
