Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented experienced Bookkeeper to join our Industrial Real Estate firm. In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, prepare financial reports, input and edit accounts on Yardi.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Yardi, and other financial systems.
Process payroll and handle accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure data accuracy across all accounts.
Prepare journal entries, conduct account analysis, and reconcile balance sheets in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Manage account reconciliation tasks including bank statements, general ledger accounts, and subsidiary ledgers.
Assist in budgeting processes by tracking expenses and revenue streams while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Generate detailed financial reports and assist in audit preparations by providing supporting documentation and analysis.

Experience

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role within corporate or non-profit environments.
Strong proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Yardi, and other financial management tools.
Demonstrated knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP), double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and financial concepts.
Experience with payroll processing, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis.
Familiarity with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting purposes.
Prior exposure to accounting or working within organizations that utilize comprehensive financial software is highly desirable.
Ability to interpret financial data accurately while adhering to established accounting procedures.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
