Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are hiring for an Office Coordinator! This person will be the primary point person for our offices located at 2500 East Main Street and will oftentimes run the office independently. The main focus will be Mad River Storage with some support to our sister company, Bellevue Metal & Recycling. This person will be responsible for all customer-facing aspects such as renting on-site and mobile containers, selling shipping containers, renting roll-off boxes, and more. The job is from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute paid lunch. This position will start at $15/hour but increase to $20/hour within 30-60 days, depending on job knowledge.

Responsibilities

Main point of contact for current customers with any questions, issues, or concerns that they may have. Take payment from customers and enter it into the computer.
Provide exceptional customer service to all of our current and potential customers.
Work with potential customers for renting and buying containers (both shipping containers and roll-off containers). Get them set up in the system, complete paperwork, and take payment.
Assist with scheduling deliveries and provide daily instructions to the drivers.
Keep up with inventory lists including overall container inventory lists, mobile inventory lists, and collections lists. Send collection letters as needed and keep the system updated on pre-lien and auction status for customers in arrears.
Handle vendor relationships and ordering through multiple third-party vendors to get the best deals for our inventory.
Perform clerical duties including document preparation, correspondence handling, and maintaining organized office supplies inventory.
Organize documentation regularly, ensuring all files and agreements are completed and in the appropriate spaces.
Sometimes we are very busy and other times, it gets pretty quiet in the office, so we are seeking a person who has great initiative to work on other things related to the role even when there are no customers who need assistance at that time.

Requirements

MUST HAVE GOOD PHONE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.
Must be dependable and punctual.
Must have good computer skills with the ability to send professional emails and update basic excel files for inventory.
Preferably looking for someone who has experience in managing and/or working in an office setting.

No background in shipping containers, storage, scrap metal, roll-off containers, etc. is necessary. Significant training will be provided to ensure the coordinator understands how to complete all responsibilities.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
